Waspi women grew up as equal working rights began – but never got same opportunities as men

Jane Cowley, WASPI Campaign Director, writes in iNews that the report by the Institute for Fiscal Studies on the effect of raising the female state pension age shows the devastating consequences of the Government’s pension reforms on ordinary women. The changes mean the Treasury has already seen an income boost of £5.1bn a year, while income poverty among 60 to 62-year-old women has increased sharply.
