We are hugely frustrated with the Chancellor’s remarks following the Spring Statement last week. His claim that the WASPI issue was “settled some years ago” shows a complete lack of understanding for our campaign, and a patent disregard for the women who continue to experience financial hardships as a result of the way that changes to the State Pension age have been managed. His remarks are particularly galling given that WASPI women protested outside Parliament during the statement to raise awareness of the issue and demand action from the Government. We are writing to the Chancellor to dispute his comments and update him on our latest campaign activity.
