ORDER

UPON the listing of an application in this case, for hearing on 3 December 2025

AND UPON the Claimant’s application made on 27 November 2025 for a direction pursuant
to s.85A Courts Act 2003 and the Remote Observation and Recording (Courts and Tribunals)
Regulations 2022 that the hearing is transmitted electronically for the purpose of enabling
persons not taking part in the proceedings to watch and listen to the proceedings remotely

IT IS ORDERED THAT

  1. The hearing shall to be transmitted electronically for the purpose of enabling persons
    not taking part in the proceedings to watch and listen to the proceedings remotely.
  2. Any request by a person not taking part in the proceedings (“an applicant”) for a
    direction under s.85A(3)(b) Courts Act 2003 and the Remote Observation and
    Recording (Courts and Tribunals) Regulations 2022 for permission to watch or listen
    to the Application Hearing remotely (“a transmission direction request”) must be
    made in accordance with Paragraph 3 of this Order by 10am on Tuesday December
  3. Any direction transmission request must be sent by email to
    administrativecourtoffice.generaloffice@justice.gov.uk and must:
    a) identify the case and hearing in respect of which the application is made (i.e., the case reference number and the date of the hearing);
    b) state the name of the applicant, provide the applicant’s home address, email
    address and phone number and, if different from the home address, state the
    address where the applicant will be if permitted to observe the hearing remotely;
    c) a brief statement of the reasons why the application is being made; and
    d) include a statement by the applicant in the following terms

    “I agree and undertake to the Court that, if permitted to attend the Hearing
    remotely, I will not make a recording, capture images, and/or broadcast any part
    of the proceedings. I understand that to do so may be an offence and/or contempt of court, punishable by imprisonment and/or a fine. I will abide by any
    directions given to me by the Court during the Hearing. I agree and undertake
    to the Court that I will not provide the link that I am given to access the Hearing
    to any other person.”
  4. A transmission direction request that is not made by the deadline imposed by
    Paragraph 2 of this Order and/or does not comply with Paragraph 3 of this Order is
    likely to be refused.
