Listen to our voice
you’ve taken away our choice
with uniformed state pension equalisation
you’ve created such devastation,
and for women of a certain age
to be dismissed, twice, is an outrage
so now retirement, after years of dedication
is merely a matter of government interpretation.
We’re not asking to go back and change the rules,
just fair transitional arrangements to see us through,
but our demands are cast adrift without validation
and considered completely unworthy of investigation.
We are woment born in the 1950’s, your mothers, sisters,
grandmothers, carers, workers all without a choice,
fighting our cause with dignity, holding on to our
integrity
we are WASPI, we are many, HEAR OUR VOICE!
