On the Wight reporting on WASPI local groups from the Solent area, from Northampton and even wider attending the annual Tolpuddle Martyrs festival. The group coordinator, Shelagh Simmons, reflects that after 10 years of campaigning it is events such as Tolpuddle and the support received that revitalises the sense of solidarity and strengthens determination.
The story was also picked up by the Isle of Wight County Press. They noted that Billy Bragg the singer took the time to meet with WASPI women on the day of the march and included the image of the meeting in their story.
