The Mirror picks up on a speech made by Brian Leishman MP.

Mr Leishman specifically mentions WASPI women to highlight the degree of anger voters are aiming at the Labour party. He makes the point that the WASPI issue along with other issues such as two child benefit cap, winter fuel allowance, WASPI etc are issues that is creating anger amongst core voters.

He is quoted as saying “When will the leadership appreciate that the people impacted by those things are our people—our class? Instead of chasing disaffected Tory right-wing votes, what about looking after our core vote?”
