The Express covering the Government’s decision to reconsider compensation for the maladministration already acknowledged.

The Express is a little more gloomy in it’s prediction of the likelihood of compensation as it states senior mandarins have expressed doubt about any offers of compensation finding it’s way into the purses of WASPI women. The Express quotes Lord Macpherson, Treasury permanent secretary from 2005 to 2016, who said he did not expect Labour ministers to make “any concessions on this issue”.
