There’s a change of faces in the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Women’s Pensions. This week saw the resignation of Carolyn Harris MP (Labour) and Tim Loughton MP (Conservative). WASPI has enjoyed a good relationship with them both and we thank them for all their efforts on behalf of 1950s women. We anticipate their continued support in Parliament.

Taking their places are MPs Andrew Gwynne and Peter Aldous, seen below at the last WASPI MPs drop in Both have been very supportive of WASPI from the outset and agree that changes to the State Pension age were maladministered. We look forward to working with them both in the future.

We still await the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman’s conclusion of Stage 1 of their investigation into maladministration.
