WASPI are very pleased to announce we have received a Sheila McKechnie Foundation Grassroots Action Support Award supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, to be used for specialist lobbying. The two Foundations create a joint initiative to “provide fuel for emerging and pioneering voices and influencers”.
The grant is in recognition of the excellent work done by WASPI campaigners, and our intended aim to achieve compensation for 50s born women. We will be using this to work with Connect PA with whom we have worked successfully in the past.
The Sheila McKechnie Foundation have also offered us support to develop our campaigning strategy and extend our means of doing so. We are grateful to them for this, and will take up their offer at the earliest opportunity.
