Work and Pensions Secretary Amber Rudd has suggested there is little chance of women affected by the changes to the state pension age being offered additional funding despite Boris Johnson’s recent commitment to do ‘everything he possibly can’ to help the WASPI women who have lost up to six years of their expected state pension.
The WASPI campaign said it was ‘disappointed’ to hear the Work and Pensions Secretary’s comments.
