Instructions for permission to watch proceedings online – 1 December 2025
1st December 2025
How to get permission to watch the proceedings online
The Court has today at 14:36 (1 December 2025) made an order permitting members of the public to apply to the court to watch WASPI’s interim hearing on Wednesday 3 December. The hearing will decide whether WASPI’s claim will continue to a full hearing on 9/10 December.
If you want to watch the proceedings you need to take the following steps by 10am on Tuesday 2 December 2025.
- Send an email to: administrativecourtoffice.generaloffice@justice.gov.uk
- The subject line should be: R(WASPI) v SSWP – AC-2025-LON-000811 – remote transmission request for interim hearing on 3 December 2025
- In the body of the email please set out:
- Your name;
- Your home address;
- Your email address;
- Your phone number; and
- If you are watching the proceedings from anywhere other than your home address, what that address will be.
- A brief statement of the reasons why the application is being made (for example, if you are a person affected by the claim, if you are unable to travel to court and the reasons why)
- You should conclude your email with the following promise to the court using the exact wording below:
“I agree and undertake to the Court that, if permitted to attend the Hearing remotely, I will not make a recording, capture images, and/or broadcast any part of the proceedings. I understand that to do so may be an offence and/or contempt of court, punishable by imprisonment and/or a fine. I will abide by any directions given to me by the Court during the Hearing. I agree and undertake to the Court that I will not provide the link that I am given to access the Hearing to any other person.”
It is very important to follow these steps precisely and on time before the strict deadline of 10am on 2 December 2025, otherwise your application will be refused.
If you are granted permission to watch the hearing remotely, the Court will write to you with details of how to watch.
We are sorry that this is short notice, but we have shared this information as soon as possible following the Court’s order.
These arrangements apply only to the interim hearing on 3 December 2025.
