The independent looking at yesterdays announcement that the Government would reconsider their decision to refuse compensation to WASPI women. This decision was contrary to the Parliamentary and Health Services Ombudsman’s recommendation that compensation should be paid.

The government says it is re-looking at the decision as a result of evidence coming to light which was never shown to Liz Kendal MP when she was the minister making the decision.
