Our Action Plan
Our aim is to win compensation for every woman affected by the DWP’s maladministration.
To achieve this we work in three ways:
Legal activity: mainly advice and guidance, but court action if necessary.
Parliamentary work: only Parliament can authorise compensation. Our aim is to get a majority of MPs to support our call for compensation.
Media: we need to get our story at the front of everyone’s mind. We do this through frequent TV, newspaper and social media articles.
Women are often asking how can I help, what can I do to support WASPI?
Here are a number of different ways you can get involved in campaigning for justice for WASPI women.
Write to your MP
On our interactive map you can instantly find out if your MP is supportive, find out how many WASPI women live in your area, and find a template email to send to your MP.
You can send your MP the latest Campaign Briefing which you can find Here
We cannot stress enough how important it is to write to your MP. MPs themselves tell us this. Sometimes it’s disheartening if you don’t get a reply. BUT DON’T GIVE UP!
We have to constantly remind our MPs that we’re not going away, and keep the WASPI issue at the top of their inbox.
Spread the WASPI word
Keep up to date with all the latest WASPI news; use our helpful tools and resources to find out more about WASPI and spread that information far and wide.
